Super Tuesday

I am interested to see what your opinion is of the election. More specifically, who you voted for and why. I know there are a lot of people that do not feel comfortable with sharing that kind of information, so if that is the case, then just tell me what you think about it so far. If you didn't vote, why? Some people say that you should never talk about religion and politics, but what better way to get people to talk?

I am interested to see how this turns out.

It's from V for Vendetta.

And I didn't vote....because I'm not registered :( I don't even know who I would vote for. Perhaps I would if I knew I was voting. =/

honestly? this is the first election of any kind (since I have turned 18) in which I did not vote. I honestly could not decide. I am sorely disappointed in all the Republican candidates. I thought about voting for Obama, but I don't think he would be taken seriously as an international political leader...

I don't know. This will be an interesting election year. I am disappointed that Hilary and McCain won the primaries. Seriously- are these the best political minds we can muster? God help us.

I see that this is an old post but I wanted to leave a comment anyways.

I voted for RON PAUL.

The reasons as to why I voted for him:

He is a firm believer of Jesus Christ.

He wants to get rid of the Federal Reserve and correct the economy.

He sees and shows correctly that we should not have gone to war in Afganistan and Iraq. Not let me say that I do not support the war because it does not follow the CHristian doctrine of a "Just War", but I do support the troops, because they are our people, they are AMERICANS! So do not think that I hate the soldiers. I detest the war and consider it anathema for the American people and for our economy, but I do not hate the people.

He believes in a foreign policy of noninterventionism, which stands in contrast to today's policy of interventionism, which has gotten us into trouble with so many countries and unjust wars.

He also stands for following the constitution. It is not a living document. He wants the truth and all of it. The first and second amendment are of extreme importance in his eyes and he stands in contrast to Bush pushing more and more intelligenc gathering upon the American people, which is unjust and unconstitutional.

These are just a few reasons.
